These
two paintings were created for Faces
of the Fallen. An organization which is showcasing portraits
of all the U.S. military members (over 3,500) who have lost their lives
during the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. The paintings are being exhibited
Throughout the Washington DC area. The exhibition includes more
than 1000 portraits by more than 1800 different artists around the Unites
States and features a variety of mediums,including ,paintings,sculptures,relief,collages drawings and textiles. It was an honor for me to contribute
to this cause.... |

died May 1, 2004, in Homburg, Germany, from non- combat-related injuries
sustained on April 30th 2004, in Kandahar, Afghanistan. |

Chief warrant Officer 3 William I. Brennan of Bethlehem, Conn. assigned
to the 1st Battalion, 25th Aviation, 25 Infantry Division (Light) Wheeler
Army Air Field, Hawaii; killed Oct. 16, 2004, when his OH-58D Kiowa
Warrior helicopter apparently collided with another OH-58D helicopter
and crashed in Baghdad. Also killed was Capt. Christopher B. Johnson |
